It all started with a question:

“What if we could open the digital world to people who need it most?”

In a small town in Albay — far from the tech hubs and skyscrapers of Metro Manila — that question sparked a quiet but growing fire. It wasn’t about building a business. It was about building a way in.

A way in for the out-of-school youth who thought online work was only for college graduates.

A way in for the solo parents, single mothers, and career shifters who just needed one chance.

A way in for the everyday Filipino who just wanted a better shot — without leaving home or the country.

That’s how EEVA Connect was born.

A Grassroots Start

Before EEVA became a name, it was an idea passed around in conversations.

A dream shared by people who had seen the potential of freelancing and virtual assistance — and wanted to extend that bridge to others.

We started small:

• Hosting informal VA trainings

• Helping neighbors and friends create online profiles

• Giving honest advice about remote work and what it really takes

• Guiding people through the maze of job scams, confusion, and fear

Soon, we realized this was bigger than just helping a few individuals.

What we needed was a structured, local-first, impact-driven approach — something built for Filipinos by Filipinos.

That’s when EEVA Connect formally took shape as a non-stock, non-profit organization.

And yes, it all started right here in Albay.

Why We Exist

We believe that the future of work isn’t just happening in Silicon Valley or global cities.

It’s happening quietly — on kitchen tables, in sari-sari store back rooms, on borrowed phones with cracked screens.

Virtual work is the new livelihood.

But so many Filipinos are still left out of that future because they don’t know how to start, don’t have the right tools, or simply lack someone to say:

“You can do this. Let’s do it together.”

That’s what EEVA Connect is here for.

We offer:

• Monthly VA starter events (with laptop giveaways!)

• Free and low-cost training for beginners

• A welcoming online community

• Real job leads and partner connections

• And most importantly — belief and support without judgment

Not Just Online. Life-Changing.
