Are you passionate about helping others discover opportunities in online work? Do you believe that out of school youth, working students, solo parents, persons with disabilities capable of online work, and career shifters in your community deserve a chance to succeed in the digital economy?

Become a Community Ambassador of EEVA Connect and help expand digital opportunities in your own community.

Community Ambassadors serve as local champions who help introduce remote work opportunities, share information about EEVA Connect programs, and connect individuals to pathways in the growing digital workforce.

This role is about leadership through service and the desire to help others build a better future through meaningful online work.

Who This Role Is For

Serving as a Community Ambassador is a volunteer role grounded in purpose and community service.

This opportunity is for individuals who:

  • 💙 Believe in expanding access to digital livelihood opportunities
  • 🌍 Are committed to serving their communities with intention
  • 🤝 Want to use their voice, network, and time to create positive impact
  • 📣 Advocate for greater access to opportunities in the digital economy

Community Ambassadors serve on a voluntary basis. While there is no financial compensation, ambassadors may be invited to participate in national events and learning opportunities organized by EEVA Connect.


We Welcome Individuals Who Are

• Based anywhere in the Philippines at the barangay, city, municipal, or provincial level

• At least 18 years old

• Passionate about digital work, inclusion, and community development

• Willing to promote EEVA Connect programs within their communities both online and offline

• Able to attend virtual orientation and contribute a few hours of volunteer work each month

You do not need to be a Virtual Assistant to apply. This role is open to teachers, youth leaders, LGU volunteers, freelancers, PWD advocates, solo parents, and individuals who believe in the mission of expanding digital opportunities.


Pathways to Leadership

Community Ambassadors who demonstrate consistent commitment and meaningful contributions over time may be considered for future leadership opportunities within EEVA Connect.

As the organization grows, opportunities may include expanded responsibilities, advisory roles, or potential staff positions depending on organizational needs and funding availability.

What Community Ambassadors Do

  • Represent the Mission
    • Share the mission of EEVA Connect within your community and networks
    • Support awareness campaigns and local initiatives
    • Represent EEVA Connect at community events when appropriate
  • Support Community Programs
    • Help promote training opportunities and community events
    • Encourage participation from individuals who may benefit from digital livelihood opportunities
    • Share information about programs such as the VA Excellence Award
  • Participate in Learning and Events
    • Join virtual orientations and ambassador gatherings
    • Participate in national events and learning immersions when opportunities arise
    • Share insights and ideas that can help strengthen the mission across communities
